How I judge a dosha
First, does it hold from all three references — the ascendant, the Moon and Venus? Many "Manglik" verdicts hold from the lagna alone and dissolve when checked properly.
Second, does a classical cancellation apply? These are part of the original teaching, not a comfort invented later.
Third, what does the Navamsa show? A dosha that looks alarming in the birth chart but sits quietly in the D9 rarely behaves as badly as feared.
Fourth, how strong is the rest of the chart? A well-placed 7th lord and a supportive dasha absorb a great deal.
Remedies, honestly
Remedies support; they do not purchase outcomes. Worship, fasting, charity and disciplined conduct are the traditional supports. Gemstones must never be worn on a dosha label alone — a coral prescribed to the wrong chart strengthens exactly the heat you were trying to calm.
Anyone who quotes a fee to "remove" a dosha with a guarantee is not practising astrology.
